East Wind Crafts
The East Wind Crafts Retail Sales Division was created in response to local customer's desire to purchase East Wind produced merchandise direct from the source, previously only offered to and sold through distribution centers and/or at wholesale volumes.
Current merchandise offered includes East Wind Nut Butters, East Wind Hammocks, Utopian Rope Sandals and the various Arts and Crafts made by members of our intentional living group.
Within the last decade, East Wind Crafts has expanded beyond our location's retail storefront, exploring the digital world by creating an E-commerce sales platform powered by Shopify.
On a continual basis, the EWC team handles all of the customer service needs at our physical location, is responsible for the processing and shipping of online orders, coordinates with local small businesses providing them with dedicated order deliver service, while also participating in various craft shows, festivals and community sponsored events in and around the surrounding area(s).

East Wind Nut Butters services multiple large distributors and many other food manufacturers.
If you’d like to use our quality nut butter as an ingredient in your product, or are a large reseller, we’re happy to work with you.
- Wholesale purchase minimums are 360lbs or 240lbs + $50 handling fee.
- Shipping rates are based on weight, pallet count, distance and receiving instructions.
- Wholesale orders require a 2-week lead time.

Utopian Rope Sandals
Born of a creative idea to up-cycle and reuse the scrap rope left over from the production of Hammocks, East Winders began a process of trial and error to make something of value from that industry's waste material. Success was soon achieved making this experimental footwear and thanks to the efforts of past and present artisans, Utopian Rope Sandals is the longest standing product made at EW.

Since 1974 the ever-evolving East Wind Community, Inc. has been operated by its profit and expense sharing, volunteer members, being one of the oldest intentional communities in America.
