Glass Jar FAQs
Glass Jar FAQs
Are glass jars safe to ship?
Yes. We carefully pack every jar using protective materials designed to minimize breakage during transit. While glass requires extra care, it’s a step we happily take to deliver the best product possible.
If a jar ever arrives damaged, please reach out — we’ll make it right.
Why not use plastic jars?
Plastic can absorb odors, retain stains, and may leach chemicals over time — especially with natural, oil-rich foods like nut butter. Glass is non-reactive, meaning it keeps our nut butters pure and unchanged from jar to spoon.
Does glass affect freshness?
Absolutely — in a good way. Glass creates a strong, airtight seal that helps protect freshness, flavor, and natural oils, so your nut butter stays delicious longer.
Is glass better for the environment?
Glass is 100% recyclable and can be reused endlessly without degrading in quality. Unlike plastic, it doesn’t contribute to microplastic pollution, making it a more sustainable long-term choice.
Why does shipping cost more with glass?
Glass is heavier and more fragile than plastic, which means additional packaging and higher shipping costs. We believe the benefits — for your health, taste, and the planet — make it worth it.
Can I reuse or recycle the jars?
Yes! Our jars are great for reuse around the home, and they’re fully recyclable. Just remove the label and lid before recycling according to your local guidelines.
What should I do if my jar arrives broken?
Please contact our support team right away with your order number and a photo. We’ll replace your jar or issue a refund — no hassle.
